Café by day, lounge and restaurant by night, Gitanos offers a wide assortment of dishes, from the rustic Merchant's Platter to the spicy Bombay Chicken. Our ingredients are selected fresh and local when available and our food is inspired by the land and sea around us.
Gitanos' (pronounced 'HE-tanos') is a Spanish word for gypsy and is a reflection of our attitude towards local cuisine. Our approach is simple - fresh, carefully picked ingredients and a warm, friendly atmosphere. And a bottle of wine. Maybe a guitar or piano thrown in.

Utilizing the freshest ingredients to bring you an unforgettable dining experience, Gitanos' Restaurant menu is inspired by life on our province's best coast. Locally sourced vegetables, seafood, wild game, berries, and mushrooms all find their way to our plates. Gitanos' dynamic menu reflects this abundance of regionally harvested product and we are proud to showcase it in our dishes.
Some of our customers may have dietary restrictions and our menu has been developed with this in mind. Our Servers can help you navigate the menu. Due to the range and severity of food allergies, we encourage you to ask as many questions as you need. We have a full range of Lunch and Dinner items.

We pick and freeze berries in season, make our own jellies and compotes of local fruit, and use the freshest fish and seafood that our waters provide. Richly grown produce is sourced from nearby farms and occasionally we're able to procure some local game. Combining Newfoundland product with international flavors is what makes us an ideal choice for those looking to broaden their culinary world.

Chill in our casual lounge and impressively stocked wine bar while sampling a taste of our European inspired Newfoundland delicacies. The Merchant's Platter is the perfect dish for such a time. Enjoy spice? The Catalan Sausage fits the bill with wonderful Iberian flavors and heat.
Mellow jazz and piano notes provide a subtle backdrop to an atmosphere of relaxed socializing and fine dining. Most Friday nights you can enjoy live entertainment. This is the place to begin your evening out, or wrap it up with our friendly bar staff serving until 11pm.
Nestled away at the back of the Millbrook Mall in the core of downtown Corner Brook, Gitanos' Restaurant is at the center of it all.
